About us
Who We Are
Asbury is a warm and welcoming congregation of the United Methodist Church located in the heart of historic downtown Greeneville Tennessee. For over 100 years, Asbury has been serving the community and 'Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World by Loving God, Growing Together, and Reaching Out’.
At Asbury, we believe in the power of God's love, the divinity of Jesus Christ, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe that through faith and prayer, we can overcome any obstacle and live a life of purpose and meaning.
Our Worship
We believe that worship is a powerful way to connect with God and experience His presence in our lives. Our worship services are designed to be uplifting, inspiring, and centered around the teachings of Christ.
Our Ministries
We offer a variety of ministries and programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. From youth groups to Bible studies to missions, there is something for everyone at Asbury.

2024 Flood | Disaster Response
On Friday, September 27, Greene County experienced catastrophic flooding following Hurricane Helene.
Volunteers from Asbury's Mission Trailer program are assisting in clean-up and restoration efforts over the coming months.
If you'd like to donate to the local disaster response and restoration/clean-up efforts in Greene County and its surrounding areas, you can donate to Asbury's disaster relief fund.
